I’ve held off writing this post for a little bit because everything that I wrote sounded cliché. But then I figured, why fight it? I’ll write a post chalked full of clichés. So here we go…
What an absolutely crazy fun month is has been. Steve and I got married and it was the most amazing day of my life! It went by in a blur. I feel like I missed so much because there was always so much going on. What I do remember is getting ready with all the ladies, seeing Steve for the first time, I remember being rushed to the doors of the church before I walked down the aisle, and the snow falling down as we took photos outside in the cold. I remember how great the speeches were from the dads, best man and matron of honor. I remember dancing our first dance and talking about how happy we were.
I could not have enjoyed it half has much if I didn’t have all my friends and family by my side throughout the day! Everyone was incredible. They were so helpful, energetic and excited to spend their day celebrating Steve and I, and let me tell you, that’s the most humbling feeling I’ve ever had. I truly have the best friends and family a girl could ask for!
Two days later Steve and I went on our honeymoon to Maui. We snorkeled, watched the sun rise over a volcano
Now we are home and enjoying being married, but it was a seriously fantastic 2 weeks! I’m looking forward to everything that’s in store for our life together.
Phew… how’s that for a cliché post? Enough mushy annoying stuff for you? Good! : )
