Recently I’ve been thinking a lot about the girl I was when I was young. What was that girl like? What did she do for fun? What made her the happiest?
I think it’s important for everyone to do this because our childhood self has made us who we are. So this week I want to share with you a few things that make me who I am and invite you to share a few things about yourself!
So what makes me, me?
I’ve always had a thing for animals. If I could have 3 or 4 dogs I would.
This is me and my puppy Mac the first day we got her.
I love quotes more than anything. I used to carry around a notebook and write down quotes I had seen so that I wouldn’t forget them. Currently, this is one that is speaking to me. If I still carried around my notebook, it definitely would have been written down.
It means, “”If nothing saves us from death, may love at least save us from life.”
And finally, I take after my dad in my love for naps. I truly believe that your day can be turned around if you engage in a quick 30 minute nap.
So those are just a few things that I know about myself. Take some time to think about what’s important to you, or what makes you who you are. I’d love to hear yours, but if you don’t feel like sharing, I encourage you to take time each day to reflect on what makes you happy and bring that into your daily life.
